INGREDIENTS
1 cup quinoa
2 cups water
PROCEDURE
Use a fine mesh colander and rinse quinoa under water & drain well
Put quinoa and water into pot and bring to the boil over medium heat. Decrease the heat and simmer until the quinoa has absorbed all of the water (approx. 10 minutes).
Remove pot from heat, cover and allow to steam for 5 minutes. Pop in fridge until ready to use for ‘Quinoa Fried Rice’ & ‘Quinoa Salad’ recipes
